Sharon S. Emel is the Chief Financial Officer for the Aiken Housing Authority. Mrs. Emel has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and has been serving the people of Aiken as a Certified Public Accountant for twenty-five years. Her professional career includes seven (7) years in local governmental accounting in addition to the nearly twenty years in public accounting, many of those years as the owner of a local public accounting practice. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Mrs. Emel also holds industry certification in HCV Financial Management and Reporting.
